April 18, 19, 25, and 26, 2026.

Street Workout Judge Course
Goal: To train professionals capable of judging any Hungarian calisthenics competition or World Championship qualification at the highest level.
Since 2022, I have served as the National Coordinator for the WSWCF. In this role, I decide who qualifies for the World Championship in freestyle and strength categories. Since 2023, I have been the Chairman of the WSWCF Freestyle Judging Panel. This position gives me a top-down view of the performance required for successful competing. This training is essential if you have competitive athletes, as it helps you understand the deep structures required for multi-year preparation.
My years of experience as a competitor, judge, and event organizer have shown that establishing a qualified, permanent judging panel is essential. This ensures that competent, independent experts with a deep understanding of movement decide who the best in Hungary are, and who earns the opportunity to compete at the Street Workout World Championships.
I plan to assemble the first Hungarian judging panel partly from those candidates who achieve the highest scores on the judging exam.
The exam has been developed not only based on my own academic and professional experience but also through consultations with experts from other sports. This includes university professors who are uniquely recognized in Hungary for serving as judges at international competitions in artistic gymnastics—the most closely related sport to street workout.
While completing the coaching certification is not mandatory for the judge training or the exam, those who participate in it will naturally start with a significant knowledge advantage.”
Who is this for?
-
Dedicated athletes following the sport for a long time.
-
Former competitors or active athletes not competing in the current qualifiers.
-
Certified coaches and gymnastics professionals (e.g., F.I.G. related sports).
-
Hobbyists interested in the technical depth of the sport.

Feedback from our former students:
Judit K.: “The practice was exactly what it should be: we received lived, tried-and-tested experiences and concrete help to build up training sessions and movement patterns—whether for ourselves or for our clients as coaches. For each movement element, we learned how to progress from scratch or from a given level to the execution of a full movement. Workout Planning – It was clear and logical; you could feel that everything is based on real, tested experience. I especially liked that specific effective methods (e.g., supersets) were highlighted. Spotting/Assisting Guides – One of my fears was how to provide physical assistance; these sections resolved that (e.g., Human Flag, Back Lever – where to hold the person). Structuring the Acrobatic Part: It was logically followable, including the explanations and connections between elements. I was afraid of how informative it would be, but I thoroughly enjoyed both the theory and the practice.”
Péter F.: “It was extremely practice-oriented, and your instructions were clear and easy to follow. It was great that you demonstrated everything and then we could try it out ourselves. I found myself in many positions that I hadn’t dared to try before due to fear of injury or falling, or couldn’t do due to lack of experience/knowledge. Through this, you gave me inspiration, ideas, and knowledge for my own practice. You could feel the vast amount of experience accumulated over the years behind the teaching. I was particularly pleased with the muscle activation exercises you demonstrated in great number; I’ve already incorporated a few into my warm-up routine. On a personal note, a really great team gathered—it was good to practice together under your guidance. My peers were also very helpful.”
Borbála V.: “It was super that it was practical yet not overly exhausting. The ratio of theory to practice was just right. Every day and everything we heard was very dense but useful. I didn’t leave with any sense of something missing.”
Péter Sz.: “I really liked the extensive practical parts, especially when we looked at multiple progressions and built up a more difficult exercise from them using technical lead-up drills, conditioning, and hybrid lead-up exercises.”
Bálint K.: “The detail of the demonstrated and practiced exercises was a definite positive. I feel that by seeing the sub-tasks in person and trying them out, I will be able to learn them within a short time with the right practice.”
Péter K.: “You covered the topics very thoroughly during the theoretical part; there was a lot of useful new information even for an established coach.”
Patrik Zs.: “What was good for me was that you showed many techniques I personally hadn’t even attempted in real life—for example, the lead-up exercises for the climbing flag, and so on. Ultimately, this is why I applied: to fill the gaps in my knowledge. I truly got an insight into the coaching side, which is my future goal. All in all, it was very useful for me.”
